H.E.L.P. Receives Awesome Donation

Just received an awesome donation from Langley Christian Church and the Fox Hill Community 5K Run. The race day netted just over $900 to benefit H.E.L.P. and those we servce together. THANKS Matt Scott and Langley Christian Church and all those that participated in the community to make the event a great one! You guys are amazing.

Needed: Refrigerator/Small Couch

Friends and supporters, H.E.L.P. is in need of a refrigerator and love seat/small couch for transitional housing. If you have either in gently used condition, and would like to donate, please let us know.

Book Bag Donations

Lanetta Davis, HELP Director of Community Affairs, receives book bags for school children from Officer Gordon (HPD). Hampton Police Department collected and donated the book bags.

Blue Grass Festival to Benefit H.E.L.P

Blue Grass Festival sponsored by Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church to benefit H.E.L.P., Inc. to purchase a closed-in trailer for Nights Welcome Winter Shelter Season. When: Saturday, September 15th, 2012 (in the late afternoon) at the Church on Beach Road (Hampton).

21 Homeless Folks Served

The guys from the HELP Transitional houses are full of energy today. We served 21 homeless folks snacks and bags full of bottle water and gatorade downtown and at the library in Hampton.
